Australia Awards Board
The Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Hon Kevin Rudd MP, and the Minister for Tertiary Education, Skills, Science and Research, Senator the Hon Chris Evans, appointed members of the Australia Awards Board in May 2011.
The Board will provide expert advice and strategic direction to the Ministers on the Australia Awards program.
Members comprise prominent leaders from the corporate and academic sectors, and three ex officio agency heads from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade; AusAID and the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science, Research and Tertiary Education, making a total of eight on the Board.
